Rovinj Croatia Resort Wear from local retailer SALT Clothing

Shorts,Top, Bag, Hat: SALT; Shoes: Madewell (Similar here); Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

When I think about timeless summer outfits, I envision an outfit anchored in navy and white. Whether it is a seersucker dress or an easy knit top and shorts combo, the outfit screams summer to me. In retail speak, this sort of outfit is typically referred to as “resort wear.” Sounds so jargon-y and overly bourgie but what the heck, I love resort wear! If I could wear resort wear everyday, I totally would. I’ll definitely keep you updated on my progress of incorporating resort wear into my daily outfit rotations…  aaaaannndddd now back to your regularly programed event – an outfit post from one of my favorite places in the world, Rovinj!

Last summer, Ryan and I spent a glorious week in Rovinj. When traveling, I love finding opportunities to explore local stores. With so much of retail moving towards global models, finding local shops like SALT is rare. My entire outfit in this post is from SALT. Every item of the SALT collection is thoughtfully designed to be crafted with the highest quality knit and woven materials. The store has a minimalistic vibe that captures the passerby’s attention and the beautiful product keeps them in the store.

When in Rovinj, promise me, you will stop by SALT and say hi for me to the wonderful staff! I just love their product and I so wish it was available online but then again, that is what makes it so special. Its exclusivity to the Croatian tourist and local.
