Banana Republic Red Angela Flats - Transitional Spring Classics

Shoes: Banana Republic (c/o); Top: Gap; Jeans: Banana Republic; Jacket: Burberry; Sunglasses: Prada

A few years ago, Ryan bought me a pair of red, sparkly flats. If you are imagining a pair of Dorothy slippers, well your imagination is not far from the truth. I wore those sparkly flats to the ground. When it came time to retiring them, my heart just could not part with them. I cannot tell you how many times I put them in the trash, and then promptly removed them. After a few iterations of this throw them away, pull them out of the trash, I finally said goodbye to my dearly beloved ruby red Dorothy flat and thus left a gaping hole in my shoe wardrobe.

Then Banana Republic reached out to partner on a style post and lucky for them, I already had my mind made up, I needed the Angela red flats! I needed to replace my Dorothy slippers and these flats felt like they could live up to my expectations! When the package arrived, I eagerly ripped it open (not an exaggeration, I hate opening mail). I slipped the flats on for a perfect fit, just like Dorothy. I walked around my apartment in them with socks to break them in before my first full day of wear. Banana Republic’s new product is so bright and Spring forward and I cannot wait to see how the rest of Spring unfolds in their stores!
