I have always loved a good gingham print. Whether is it black and white, or navy and white, I love them all, but it was not until I came across this two piece outfit from Zara, that I truly met my gingham match. How incredibly fun is this two piece? So, move over crop tops and midi skirts, there is a new two piece obsession in town. Ryan and I took these photos in Golden Gate Park, near the beautiful Stow Lake. I have always loved this Japanese Tea Garden oasis. Anytime someone visits SF, I bring them here, it is truly a sanctuary and a place for relaxation and reflection.

Also, in case you might have missed it, I announced on my instagram last Friday that my time in SF has come to an end. Ryan and I are leaving to travel for the next five months around the globe! We are thrilled to start this adventure of a lifetime and I look forward to sharing this experience with you. The posts for the trip will be a little delayed initially (because I have a few more outfits to share, so stay tuned), but please follow along on instagram! We are currently on a plane, heading to Quito, Ecuador.

  1. Have a brilliant time on your travels! I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time :)

I love your outfit (once again)!! How can everything you wear be so perfect?!

  2. You’ve got the most incredible matched sets! I love this one. Gingham is the best. Such a retro, classic look. And HOLY COW have the best time travelling! That is so exciting! I feel like ‘congratulations’ is the word to use here, because it’s kinda like you just won the jackpot or something.

    • Thank you Alecz! Yeah, its a long story as to what got me on this trip but I am glad Ryan and I finally took the leap of faith and packed up! Looking forward to trying to stay fashionable while traveling!

  3. Aren’t you stunning in this 2-piece retro-inspired gingham outfit. The bustier is so feminine and fun!

    Enjoy Ecuador, Beautiful!

  4. Ahhh, how chic you look. I’ve never tried a peplum let alone a Gingham Peplum Pant Suit but I might just attempt it. I might :) until then, I shall live vicariously through your fashion adventures.

    • Right, I do not understand why it is so difficult to find that perfect gingham dress! Have you checked out Modcloth yet?

      • So I’ll have you ladies know that thanks to this avid discussion for and love of gingham, I just purchased two gingham tops. Who would’ve known that commenting on blog posts would be detrimental to my wallet :)
