2014: First year of GSOL

Looking back on 2014, I am incredibly proud of how far Ginger Side of Life has come. As I have shared before, my 2013 New Year’s resolution was to learn something new, which led me to start GSOL with Jess. Starting GSOL with Jess was a dream come true. We played off of each others strengths and created such a beautiful blog together with the help of our friends.

Then life has a funny way of changing course. Jess received an amazing promotion at work last September, prompting her to make the difficult decision to follow her dream job and part ways with GSOL. It was heart breaking to lose such a wonderful partner in crime, but it also opened up new opportunities for me to continue building out my hobby. So thank you for supporting Jess and I through the growth and transitions of the blog and I look forward to what 2015 has in store for me! I will keep you updated once I decide on a 2014 New Year’s resolution and I am looking forward to continuing to be part of the San Francisco fashion blogging community.

Below are some of my favorite looks from 2014.

  1. Awesomely great looks Chelsea, I love them. How awesome of you to include your partner in crime even though she isn’t doing the blog with you much anymore. I have debated on letting my sister be a part of the blog…or we start our own. But that is a goal for the future :) following you on IG now (@garaytreasures) and bloglovin (http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11561337). Looking forward to following you through the New Year and getting to know you. Rachel xo
