Last Tuesday night I was invited to participate in a gift exchange with a few of my bay area blogger friends. Sarah from SnixyKitchen hosted, and she treated us to some of the most delicious, vegan and gluten free cookies as well as some indulgent peppermint treats. It was so kind of Sarah to host and it was wonderful to see Carla, from Alyssa and Carla, and BP from Even if Nobody Reads This, and meet Annie from MontgomeryFest. Annie and I had been instagram friends going on a three months now but had never met in person. So Sarah’s party was a perfect reason for all of us to get together, celebrate the holidays and eat delicious treats but I guess delicious treats comes with the territory of being friends with food bloggers!

Seriously, I wish I was as crafty as Carla and Annie or had an ounce of Sarah’s cooking creativity or my way with words the way BP does. Seriously though, they are all amazing! Meeting these women has taught me many things but the most important has been how generous the blogging community is with their knowledge and willingness to share. So thank you again Sarah for inviting me! I feel so fortunate to have been accepted into the blogging community.

See where I am LINKING UP this week!

    • :) Thank you Carla! Without you, there would be no GSOL. You gave me the kick in the butt to start this last year, and everyday I am so grateful. It has been on heck of a journey, learning all the basics, but I am so happy I did. SO thank you!

  1. Wow! I love the olive on you! it’s just gorgeous with your skin tone! You always take the most fresh and beautiful pictures too. Thanks for sharing this with Celebrate Southern last week! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that we will see ya back this week for another fun link up! I am pinning this outfit on the Celebrate Southern Pinterest board right now :) xoxo

    • Thank you! I always love your looks on Bless her Heart Y’all (I also love the title of your blog! My college roommate is from Georgia, and I heard that phrase a lot, usually in tandem with me doing something ridiculous haha!). Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing what is in store for you in 2015!

    • Thank you Merrie. The only downside to the clutch is that it is really tiny and you cannot fit that much in it. BUUUT it is on super sale right now and the sale price makes it worth it to buy!
