The morning after the wedding, we all decided have an early breakfast in Old Town Sacramento. We got there a little too early, and most of the restaurants and shops were not open, but it made for easy pickings for photos! After an early breakfast, Ryan and I were on the road, and headed to do some outlet shopping in Vacaville.
I love taking the day and driving to the Outlets. I mean who does not love spending an entire day dedicated to shopping and finding deals? But I always struggle with understanding what is a deal and what is not a deal. It seems like so many store windows scream, “75% off the entire store!” and all I can think is, “how is that business making any money?” Since most outlets have an in house design team creating product straight for outlet stores, (not the original model of transferring excess goods) I just wonder how they can make money and be 75% off. So that leads me to wonder about the quality of the garment. Regardless of my questions, I think it is important to be aware of what you are buying and pay close attention to fabric content, especially if you have sensitive skin. Outlet shopping is always a thrill when you get a great deal but I always pay close attention to the details. The top I am wearing in these photos are from the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet and it has held up well and I love it to pieces. So 1 point to the Outlets!
Anyways, we took our time getting back to the city and so happy we did because this is what we saw on our way back!
