Friday Flights: Guacamole

Holy Guacamole! So as I am sure you have picked up on from this week’s posts, Ryan and I went to Puerto Vallarta for our anniversary. It has become a little bit of a tradition over the past few years, and I hope we can continue visiting! Puerto Vallarta is one of my favorite places in the world. From the food, to the people to the beaches, you just cannot go wrong, and it is SO affordable. Now lets get down to the FOOD! Today’s post is a step by step on how my favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta makes guacamole, and they do it right at your table!

Avocado, tomato, cilantro, lime, olive oil

I wish I could give you exact measurements, but our waiter was moving so quickly, and we were already taking so many photos, I felt a little awkward to ask for more than the ingredients. As I get more comfortable with this, I promise, I will just ask!

Now on to the restaurant that will serve you this amazing guacamole! Si Senor is a beautiful little restaurant right on the beach in PV. Nothing is as wonderful as checking into your hotel and heading right to the beach for an evening of sunset viewing, listening to the waves crash and having your waiter make FRESH guac right at your table. Si Senor is amazing for all the reasons mentioned above. I would recommend going there as your first stop for the evening. The entrees are good, but a little pricey, and I think for your Peso, you can get more elsewhere. However, I have not found a single restaurant that rivals their guac and ambiance. So highly recommend Si Senor as your first stop dining while in Puerto Vallarta!
