Finishing up Father’s Day weekend, my family and I went to the California Science Center to see an exhibition on Pompeii. I was so excited for this exhibition because Ryan and I went to Pompeii a few years ago after studying abroad. It was one of the most intriguing places I have ever been. As an art history lover, Pompeii was so perfectly conserved after Mt. Vesuvius erupted, preserving vivid frescos, gorgeous architecture and a life of a people we would never have known otherwise.
Also, for a little laugh, here is a photo circa 2010 from Pompeii-lets name this photo: “learning my blogging pose.” Ha!
