The beautiful central coast. This weekend I drove South to visit my parents in Shell Beach and it couldn’t have been more stunning. Seventy-five degrees, slight ocean breeze and cloudless skies all weekend. Per usual, I packed more for my trip down the coast than necessary. When traveling I tend to over-pack; the phrase ‘traveling light’ couldn’t be further from the truth. However as I get older I’m getting (slightly) better at lightening my travel load. These days I focus on choosing tops and bottoms I can easily mix and match, color choices that all work together and fabrics that travel well without wrinkling. Another tip: check the weather before packing. This may seem obvious but I can’t tell you how often I pack clothes that correlate with the weather I want as opposed to the weather that will actually occur. Does anyone else struggle with packing? What are your best tricks and tips? Hope you all had a fun weekend!
