Last night, my roommates and I hosted a small St. Patrick’s Day dinner at our apartment. Oh, okay, I should rephrase that, my roommates hosted a St. Patrick’s Day dinner, and I showed up. I cannot take credit for the cooking. I am a terrible cook and most people are shocked when I tell them my favorite dinning establishment is the food court at the mall. Seriously, Buckhorn is my favorite place to grab dinner. But, I digress.
St. Patrick’s Day to me, is a reminder of my Irish family. My grandfather was born and raised in Dublin, and I have been fortunate enough to visit Ireland a few times and every time I go, I fall more in love with the country. Here is one of my favorite photos from my visit to Blarney Castle (the countryside is really that green). Ryan and I traveled for six weeks after our study abroad programs ended, and I know I would have died to have had the outfit in this post. I absolutely LOVE this outfit and would wear it everyday if it was socially acceptable. The printed floral bottoms are so comfortable and easy. If you want to try out these bottoms, and do not want to spend the Anthropologie price tag, check out these, and these and these.
