I am a planner, so as soon as I found out my friends were engaged and I would be making a trip to Arizona, I knew I had to visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin in Scottsdale. So a few of us piled into my friend’s car, and we made the trip to explore Taliesin. The tour was fantastic and I learned that Taliesin offers a graduate architecture program where you get to live on the grounds of the estate and be inspired the same way Frank Lloyd Wright was. The idea of living and creating in the same environment as one of the greatest American architects sounds like a dream. Too bad my best drawings are stick figures and flower/heart doodles. So I do not think I will be applying. I wanted to take pictures throughout the grounds but unfortunately, it started to drizzle, so I am happy I got a few in before the drizzle turned into a down pour. As a side note, I only wore these shoes for the photos. I quickly changed into my comfy rainbows after. Heels and exploring are not the best combination. Thanks to Barb for taking these pictures!
